DOMICEM builds photovoltaic power plant

Cement industry DOMICEM carried out the groundbreaking for the construction of a new photovoltaic power plant of 1,500KWP, in Sabana Grande de Palenque, in San Cristóbal, as part of its sustainable action plan, and which will expand to up to 6,000KWP in phase two.

The project will feature 4 thousand 616 solar panels, each of 325Wp, 49 German-made SMA inverters, each with a 25.00KWp production capacity, to produce a total 2,286,305 KWh of clean energy, which represent a total savings of 56,715 fossil fuel gallons per year.
