JUANCHO, PEDERNALES. The Empresa Generadora de Electricidad Haina (Ege Haina) will put forth a wind energy plan in the Agricultural Development Project of Valle del Juancho, with an investment of about USD$70M.

For the installation of wind energy in this location, the executive director for the project, Mr. Benjamín Féliz Sánchez, signed an accord alongside Mr. Tito Sanjurgo, Chairman of Ege Haina Group.

He emphasized that the same company Ege Haina will cover the interlinkage costs and the monthly bill consumed by the irrigation system located at the associated project in Valle del Juancho, with three farms of 6,000 acres each, divided into blocks of 500 acres with 32 plots each.
